From June 22 to 25, Munich, Germany, hosted Intersolar Europe 2026 —the world’s largest trade show and conference dedicated to solar energy, energy storage systems, and the future of the energy sector.
This year, the event brought together more than 2,600 companies from 52 countries and over 105,000 visitors from 163 countries, reaffirming its status as the leading international platform for discussing technology, innovation, and industry trends.
The iSolar team also attended the event to learn about new solutions from manufacturers, network with international partners, and gain an up-to-date perspective on the direction of the global energy sector.
“For us, Intersolar Europe is an opportunity to be where the future of solar energy is taking shape. Over the course of a few days, we held dozens of meetings with partners and equipment manufacturers, saw hundreds of new solutions and technologies, and discussed the trends that will shape the industry’s development in the coming years. We’re returning from Munich with new connections, ideas, and growth opportunities that will help us make our projects even more efficient and create even greater value for our customers,” — comments Anastasi Tsyb-Maievska, Marketing Director at iSolar.
Another important step in the development of iSolar
Intersolar Europe 2026 served as not only a platform for our team to exchange experiences, but also a venue for significant achievements. During the exhibition, we signed another memorandum of strategic partnership with our partner FOX ESS, reaffirming our intention to continue developing our collaboration and implementing cutting-edge solutions for the Ukrainian market.
iSolar also received the Excellent Distributor award from FOX ESS, which recognizes the high quality of our work, the trust our partners have placed in us, and the joint results we have achieved in recent years.
Key Takeaways from Intersolar Europe 2026
We have identified several key trends that will shape the development of the energy sector in the coming years:
- Energy storage is becoming the centerpiece of the power system. Energy storage systems are evolving from an optional feature to an essential component of modern energy infrastructure.
- Economic efficiency is becoming more important than environmental considerations. Businesses are increasingly turning to solar energy because of its potential to reduce costs, increase energy independence, and ensure operational predictability.
- Software is becoming a competitive advantage. EMS platforms, digital management services, and AI-based solutions are becoming a key factor in the efficiency of power systems.
- The market is shifting from selling equipment to offering comprehensive solutions. Customers are looking for partners who can handle the entire cycle—from design and financing to energy management.
- Electric vehicles are becoming part of the power grid. Charging infrastructure, energy storage, and power generation are increasingly being integrated into a single energy ecosystem.
- Solar energy is becoming a driver of the economy and energy security. In many countries, the industry already creates hundreds of thousands of jobs and is seen as one of the factors contributing to economic stability.
What does this mean for Ukraine?
Most of the trends currently shaping the European market are already beginning to take shape in Ukraine as well. The role of energy storage systems is growing, as is the demand for comprehensive business solutions and the need for effective energy management.
That is why iSolar continues to grow as an integrated developer in the alternative energy sector, combining EPC, distribution, EMS, energy trading, services, logistics, and training.
Intersolar Europe 2026 has once again confirmed that the future of renewable energy is already here. And we are pleased to be among those helping to bring it to Ukraine.
