Small and medium-sized businesses in Vinnytsia will receive compensation for solar power plants
“At the last session, the city council extended the procedure for providing compensation for the installation of renewable energy sources, and now small and medium-sized businesses operating in the community will be able to receive it. They can be compensated for the costs of purchasing a solar power plant with its components, a hydropower plant or a wind generator, and auxiliary equipment for them,” Ocheretnyi said.
According to him, the maximum amount of compensation for a business cannot exceed UAH 1 million.
One of the conditions for receiving compensation for entrepreneurs is the timely payment of taxes for the previous year and, accordingly, the absence of debts.
The official noted that this is another step of the municipality towards business to strengthen its energy resilience in the face of a possible blackout in the fall and winter.
Until now, only microbusinesses in Vinnytsia have been able to claim such compensation.
