As of today, electricity prices for business during the minimum load hours (00:00-07:00 and 23:00-24:00) are limited to UAH 2,000/MWh, and during the maximum load hours (07:00-23:00) – UAH 4,000/MWh.
The NEURC’s draft decision states that the current price caps will cease to be valid from June 30. This means that new price caps will apply to businesses starting in July:
- – for hours of minimum load (from 00:00 to 07:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00) – UAH 2,714.00/MWh;
- – for peak hours (from 07:00 to 23:00) – 5,428.00 UAH/MWh;
In addition to the market price, which is determined on a daily basis, the tariff structure for business also includes the tariffs of the transmission system operator and distribution system operators, as well as the cost of supplier services. Therefore, the final tariff will be higher and may vary by region.
