Full payment for electricity under the “green tariff” is restored to private households
NEURC Resolution No. 153 of January 30 comes into force on February 1, 2023. It defines the algorithm for repayment of debts to SPP owners.
The purpose of the adopted amendments is to ensure the development of distributed generation, protect the interests of private households with generating facilities, and balance the interests of participants in the retail electricity market.
NPC Ukrenergo should ensure that suppliers are fully compensated for the difference in tariffs that arose in 2022.
They will also monitor the settlement and take all necessary measures to ensure that the approved algorithm is followed.
The department reminds that it is advisable to install solar power plants in private households, as they provide an opportunity:
-to meet the electricity needs of households and communities;
-Reduce dependence on imports of traditional energy resources;
-save on electricity bills;
-To be autonomous;
-to stimulate the work of domestic businesses in related industries;
-improve the quality and stability of electricity supply.
