NEURC increases feed-in tariff for RES generation by 6% for the first quarter of 2023
The NEURC has revised upward the amount of “green tariffs” for the 1st quarter of 2023 for all types of renewable energy generation, taking into account the euro, Energoreforma reports.
The relevant resolutions were adopted at a meeting of the regulator on December 30.
Thus, based on the lists of renewable energy generation facilities and types of domestic generation specified in the annexes to the resolutions, the tariff for the specified period will be 6% higher than in the last quarter of 2022.
As stated in the justification to the draft resolutions, feed-in tariffs for electricity produced by business entities, generating facilities of consumers, including energy cooperatives and generating facilities of private households, are set for the next quarter taking into account the average official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro set by the NBU for the last 30 calendar days preceding the date of the last NEURC meeting in the current quarter.
The average official exchange rate of UAH to EUR for the period from November 30, 2022 to December 29, 2022 at the level of UAH 3863.0393 per EUR 100 was used for the calculations.
